Welcome to EEP


EEP (Executive English Programs) was established in 1970 in Jakarta, and 1987 in Bandung, to meet the increasing demand for English language lessons in Indonesia. Today EEP has two branches in Jakarta as well as the larger one in Bandung.

EEP Bandung currently has almost 2,000 students learning English, as well as an increasing number learning Mandarin. The popularity of EEP courses has led to plans for opening a second branch in Bandung later this year.

Bandung
Bandung is Indonesia's third largest city, located in the province of West Java, a 3-hour train journey from Jakarta. Its high elevation gives it a pleasant climate, with an average daytime temperature of around C25º. All major types of goods are available in Bandung's supermarkets and shopping malls, and Bandung is also famous for its "factory outlet" bargain clothes shops. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants with food from all over the world - local Sundanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, European, American, and so on. as

Fans of Bandung find that it is the perfect mixture of city and countryside, being surrounded by mountains, hot springs, tea plantations, waterfalls and scenic parks.

EEP Bandung is located in north Bandung within easy reach of both city and country, near to some of the best cafes and restaurants, as well as to affordable rented houses.

Teaching at EEP Bandung
EEP Bandung employs qualified (minimum degree + CELTA or equivalent), experienced native speaker English teachers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We offer a one-year renewable contract with locally competitive pay and conditions; all immigration matters are dealt with by EEP. We also employ qualified, experienced Indonesian teachers of English, and native speaker teachers of Mandarin. We encourage teacher development through lesson observation, participation in workshops and conferences, action research, and so on . Our wide range of courses and excellent facilities provide teachers with an opportunity to specialize in particular areas or to gain experience teaching many different kinds of classes. photoguru

We teach pre-school children, older children, teenagers and adults, General English, Conversation Classes, Business English, Company Classes, Private Lessons, TOEFL (soon to be the New Generation TOEFL) and have an expanding IELTS programme.

EEP Bandung has a computer lab with a full range of CALL software, an internet café, a language lab., and a small lending library. There are 14 classrooms, four of which have listening materials on computers: more computers are to be purchased soon. Teachers teach up to 24 hours in a 5-day week. Most classes take place between 2pm and 8.30pm. Transport home is provided in the evenings. Saturday classes run from 10am to 5pm; Saturday teachers have a day off during the week.
